This Privacy Policy describes how FadeList ("we", "us", "the app") handles your information. FadeList is published by Yellow Butler LLC dba Markup Creative ("we"). If you have any questions, contact us at support@fadelist.app.
The short version
FadeList is designed to be private by default.
- We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information.
- We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking SDKs.
- Your tasks are stored on your device and, if you choose, in your personal iCloud account.
- Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment information.
Information FadeList handles
Task data
Tasks you create — including titles, time estimates, completion state, and order — are stored:
- Locally on your device.
- In your personal iCloud Key-Value Store (Apple's iCloud service), if iCloud is enabled on your device. This lets the app sync your tasks between your own devices signed into the same Apple ID.
This data is stored in your iCloud account, not on our servers. We have no ability to read it.
Purchase information
If you purchase a FadeList+ subscription or a Lifetime upgrade, the transaction is processed by Apple's App Store. We receive a signed receipt from Apple confirming the purchase status. We do not receive your name, email, payment method, or any other identifying information.
Support emails
If you email us at support@fadelist.app, we will see your email address and the contents of your message. We use that information only to reply to your inquiry and we do not use it for marketing.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect analytics or usage data.
- We do not track your activity across apps or websites.
- We do not use advertising identifiers.
- We do not embed third-party SDKs for analytics, crash reporting, or marketing.
- We do not require an account.
Third-party services
The only third party involved in providing FadeList to you is Apple, which provides:
- The App Store, which handles all purchases and subscription management.
- iCloud Key-Value Storage, which (if enabled by you) syncs your task data between your devices.
Apple's handling of this data is governed by Apple's own privacy policy, available at apple.com/legal/privacy.
Your choices
- You can stop iCloud sync at any time in your device's iCloud settings.
- You can delete your data by uninstalling the app and removing FadeList data from iCloud in your device's iCloud settings.
- You can cancel a subscription at any time in App Store settings.
Children
FadeList is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
